What is a silicone sealant?

Silicone sealant is a kind of glue, frequently used to make a watertight or impenetrable seal at the joint between two surfaces. Typically, it looks, feels, and acts like a gel. It has a different chemical make-up from other organic polymer-based adhesives.

Properties of a silicone sealant:
